I’ve tried out countless apps for the iOS platform but few have every stayed on my phone as long as Paprika, a recipe manager that’s already been widely praised in other reviews over the last few years. I won’t attempt to add to the accolades here, but I can’t imagine a food or tech blog without mentioning the tool I use the most in the kitchen.
Don’t get me wrong, it looks beautiful and all but google maps sucks on an iPad. There is nothing more infuriating than loosing functionality on an iOS device. I am not asking for all that non-Jobsian flash, just some basic rerouting features like I have when I use maps on my laptop. Why does Google think it can find the best way home when I am the one on the hamster week of rush hour traffic everyday. Are the street maps of Boston even accurate?
Seriously, click, drag, reroute. That is all I want.
