bits about Me

Check for My Latest Blog

I work as in the Boston area and blog here about anything that interests me. The grass that grows may be digital but I hope to stay grounded in thoughtful writing. In the main column of the blog you might find musings on food, travel, and culture in general. A few technology or science posts may also show up here from time to time. Along side or below my blog you will find my tweets and re-tweets which will be updated more frequently than the prosaic posts. Look here for the latest thoughts and observations that catch my attention. In the end I am very much an amateur blogger looking to bridge the gap between silence and the vagaries of other social media. It is here that I simply write for the sake of self expression.

My blog displays one or two post per page; be sure to click “Older posts” to display additional content or use the search option at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for reading.

Note that right now most of the bits blogged here are random collections of thought. You may see some long time lags too as I rethink what I want out of a blog. .

Have you seen the Digital Lawn?

The Digital Lawn is a dynamic area that grows with every post based on the way I tag each blog with key words. These key words are captured in a “tag cloud” that is compiled by a WordPress widget and grows below my blog. The text of each word gets larger and bolder every time I repeat that theme. Click any word on the lawn and it will take you to a customized blog of all the posts I’ve tagged with that bit of grass.
